Masaki Uchida - Ambi (CU003)

In his music for 'Ambi', Masaki Uchida (Japan) re-imagines past, present and future; reality and unreality. Through a dense variety of sounds that include field recordings, piano, guitar, and synths, he aims to evoke more than just one emotion in the listener, just like a chord is more than its individual constituents.

Masaki also incorporates sounds that stem from chance and the concept of inevitability, which accentuates the exploratory, singular nature of his music. He gives each of his tracks a sense of movement and scope.
